đŸ„€Â Poppy Drive: Nov 2

Each year, we support our Veterans through the Milton Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Drive. Donations collected during the campaign directly support Veterans and their families within the Milton community, helping to ensure that Canadians ‘never forget’.

This year there are two shifts available on November 2, 2024. All cadets must do at least one session. Volunteer hours can be provided upon request. Dress for this activity is C2s (full “blues”) or black pants, white shirt for new recruits.

Cadets who sign up by the October 26, 2024 deadline will receive a confirmation email of their shift. Parents will need to drive their cadet to and from the location — including the central check-in location where you will receive and return your poppy box. Additional details will be provided in the confirmation email.

Please notify your chain of command if you cannot attend at least one shift.

đŸ„€Â Remembrance Day Parades: Nov 3, Nov 10, and Nov 11

Each year, we support the Milton Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day parades. It is not only an opportunity for us to show our support for our local Royal Canadian Legions, but to remember our veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the life we get to enjoy today.

The parade details for this year are as follows:

  • Haltonville Remembrance Day Parade — Sunday, November 3 (1300hrs – 1500hrs)
  • Victoria Park Remembrance Day Parade — Sunday, November 10 (1300hrs – 1500hrs)
  • Evergreen Cemetery Remembrance Day Parade — Monday, November 11 (1000hrs – 1200hrs)

All cadets are required to attend at the Victoria Park parade, and volunteer for a second parade. Volunteer hours can be provided upon request. Dress for this activity is C2s (full “blues”) or black pants, white shirt for new recruits.

Cadets who sign-up by the October 27, 2024 deadline will receive a confirmation email with additional details.

Please notify your chain of command if you cannot attend at least one shift.
